Returns the count of non-blank cells.

Syntax

= COUNTA(value1, [value2], …)

Arguments

  • value1: A value, a cell reference, a range of cells, or an array.
  • [value2]: A value, a cell reference, a range of cells, or an array.

Notes

  • It will count the cell which has a (text, number, formula, a cell with a formula resulting in an empty cell, symbol, and error).
