    If you want to convert a time value which is stored as a text you can use TIMEVALUE Function. It can convert a time which is in a textual format into a valid time.

    When you refer to a text value, it will return a numeric value which excel can recognize as a valid time.



    • time_text A time which has formatted as a text which you want to convert into a valid time value.
