Use Excel ISNA Function if you want to test a value for #N/A error. In simple words, it will return TRUE if the cell or value you have specified has #N/A error, else it will return FALSE.
- value A cell reference or a value which you want to test.
More Information on Excel ISNA Function
- It will only consider #N/A, ignore other error values.
- You can enter #N/A directly into the function.
In the below example, we have used ISNA to check different error values. we only got TRUE in the case of #N/A error value.
As we know #N/A means that that a value is not available. In the below example, I have used IF Function and VLOOKUP Function with ISNA to deliver a meaningful message to the user.
